SUMMER RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
Dr. Rountos (Department of Biology, Long Island) is looking for enthusiastic undergraduate research volunteers to assist with his various marine ecology projects taking place this summer in Long Island’s aquatic ecosystems. Projects include 1) a bi-weekly trawl survey in Shinnecock Bay during the summer, 2) seagrass restoration and monitoring in Moriches Bay, and 3) research evaluating the impacts of harmful algal blooms on fish.
